These past couple of days have continued to be very busy days for the Boehm twins. Thursday morning we woke up early and headed to Pacific and Mission Beaches on the San Diego coast. The morning was gorgeous, and we strolled the lovely beaches and soaked up the California sun. That afternoon we met up with Alexandra's friend Carl and went to a Padres-Braves game at PETCO field in downtown San Diego. The atmosphere was terrific, even if I had trouble paying attention to the game. I often get caught up in the people around me and all the great food that I don't realize that four innings have gone by. The Braves ended up winning though the Padres put up a good fight.
That evening we fled the sunny beaches of SoCal and headed inland to Arizona. Along the way we passed boarder patrol checkpoints and huge Cacti sprinkling the dark landscape before we finally arrived late that night in Scottsdale, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix). This morning, after checking out the wealthy affluent suburb, we headed toward the majestic Grand Canyon. We stopped at Wiliams, a quant western town, just before the Canyon. Tomorrow should be an amazing day of fantastic scenery as we explore this incredible Canyon.
