As I write this I am waiting on Alexandra to finish blow drying her hair so we can get on with this road trip.....we are crossing the US border today and going to Seattle!!! Yesterday was another fabulous day in Vancouver. We got to experience the infamous Pacific northwest weather of rain and more rain. While some would be intimidated by this turn of events, the Boehm twins embraced it. We took the Sea Bus to Lynn Valley Park on the north side of Vancouver and had a wonderful day in the park. One of the main attractions of the park, is this incredible suspension bridge that hovers over the canyon. It connects one cliff wall with another cliff wall way above the river below. It is pretty cool to walk across and just a little bit scary as the bridge sways to the left and to the right as people traverse it. You can't help thinking that you would be totally screwed if you happened to fall off the bridge. We had this older gentleman take our picture of us and then he was like, "let's get a snuggle picture". We quickly corrected him and told him we are siblings. Does anyone want to start a bet on how many times during this trip people mistake us for a couple? Granted, we are best looking twins to come out of the womb in the last fifty years but cant you tell we have look somewhat alike? Luckily, know one has asked us if we are identical twins yet, but I am sure that will come in time.
Anyway, We enjoyed a pleasant walk to this waterfall area where the lush and wet coastal rain-forest gave us an almost supernatural experience of peace and wonder. After the walk we, made our way to the little cafe they have on the premises and relaxed awhile before, we started another hike to the pool and lake area. Along the way to the lake, we met a delightful gal from Toronto and we started hiking with her. We quickly became good friends with Melody and she even got excited when she heard about our blog. In an amazing development, she even asked for our blog address!! By the time this trip is over we may increase our readership from 15 people to maybe like 18 peeps......totally radical isn't it?? This blog is becoming viral one person at a time. lol
Last night we went to an awesome restaurant called 6 Acres in the Gas Town. On the way there, this dude in an Easter Bunny outfit and his sidekick were walking the streets of Vancouver and blocked my way for a second before waving. I was about to go into Army mode and kick his ass but I restrained myself. Ok, maybe I wasn't going to do that but it sounded tough! We had a lovely evening drinking Canadian beer and snacking on quesedillas. One more side not, without realizing it, Alexandra and I are wearing patriotic colors as we head back into the US..I guess that is Twin Power for you. lol Hope everyone has a great Good Friday and Easter weekend!!! Stay tune for blogging from the front lines of travel.

HI new friends! :) I didn't know you were TWINS! I see that you talked about ME in your blog! SUPER EXCITING! (And yes, I was super excited to run into the two of you... the Canyon would've been way less exciting without the two of you... and how I secretly wish I could go on a road trip like yours...) I wish I took a picture of the two of you so I could tag you in my pictures... I got lost on the way back to the city and ended up being on a bus for an hour. AND I ended up meeting a friend in Gastown too. Wouldn't it be funny if we bumped into each other there again? :) I can't wait to hear the rest of your adventure... and you're more than welcome to follow my journey of pictures on Facebook! :) BE SAFE!
